1. About the Institute
Top Tails Institute CIC delivers structured, professionally led canine-assisted psychological and neurodivergent support services.
The Institute is not a community dog scheme, membership programme, or informal wellbeing initiative.

2. Scope of Services
Services may include canine-assisted psychotherapy, neurodivergent and autism-informed support, and structured emotional regulation work delivered in approved settings. All services are purpose-led and delivered under professional oversight.

3. Eligibility & Access
Services are accessed by individuals, families, schools, local authorities, and organisations, subject to suitability assessment, capacity, and safeguarding requirements. The Foundation does not operate open public access or drop-in services.

4. Role of Dogs
Dogs involved are trained working dogs, handled by qualified staff and integrated deliberately as co-regulatory supports. They are not pets, entertainment animals, or informal therapy tools.

5. Safeguarding & Conduct
All work operates under strict safeguarding principles. The Institute reserves the right to pause or terminate services if safeguarding concerns arise.

6. Health & Safety
Participants must disclose relevant medical, behavioural, or allergy information. The Institute cannot accept responsibility for risks arising from undisclosed information.

7. Confidentiality & Data Protection
Personal data is handled in line with UK GDPR. Information is shared only where legally required, necessary for safeguarding, or with explicit consent.

8. Fees, Payments & Cancellations
Fees are agreed in advance. Cancellation terms may apply depending on notice given. Fees may be revised with notice.

9. Liability
The Institute holds appropriate insurance. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and excludes failure to follow guidance or actions outside agreed services.

10. Complaints & Governance
Concerns should be raised directly with the Institute and will be reviewed under internal governance and safeguarding procedures.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. The current version will always apply.
